Evaleyah Genevieve Pili

Eva is my princess, she was born on April 25, 2011. I had her at American Fork Hospital, and it was another C-Section. She was my easy baby. Recovery was hard but a lot easier than when I had my first baby. And we were home within a couple days of having her. Although, delivery was easier, having a girl in general is not easy. Thor was an easy baby. He was and still is, very independent. Evaleyah, on the other hand, does not like to be put down. Is it a girl thing or what?? She is soo dramatic. She is getting better now but she does have quite the attitude. Growing up I was the only girl in my family and always wished for a sister, so I hoped for the same thing for my baby girl. Now, I think if I only had one girl I would be ok. Lol. She has her daddy wrapped around her little finger and she knows it. She bullies her brother like there is no tomorrow. She is very cheeky! At 10 months, you can already see her very strong personality. She knows what she wants and she makes sure she gets it. Love it!!

Thor Fuali'i Matina Pili II

Thor II is my honeymoon baby. Literally. TMI maybe. Lol. I was married April 18, 2009 and I had my beautiful baby boy on January 4, 2010. Originally, my due date was February 12, 2010. I went in for my regular checkup on Monday, January 4th, looking all jacked up thinking I would return home right after my appointment. The week before my appointment I felt horrible. I was all swollen and just ridiculously uncomfortable. So my doctor checks my blood pressure and it's high. We go through my 34 week check up and he checks it again, still high. So he sends me over the Labor & Delivery. I'm freaking out, and start asking questions. I ask him if I'm going to have the baby today. I remember he very casually says to me "No, maybe tomorrow..." I'm still freaking out because I'm not expecting to have a baby for at least another month. I wasn't ready to have a baby! Lol. Well I go to Labor & Delivery and they monitor my blood pressure for a few hours. Of course the dang thing never goes down. I take some blood tests and the results come back positive for toxemia. The nurse comes in at 11am (my appointment was at 9am, my first mistake. Lol.) and tells me ok call who you need to the doctor says we have to C-Section in an hour. At this point since I had been sick for over a week the doctor felt it was neccessary to get the baby out right away. So they prep me for surgery, which is the scariest thing ever. I call my mom and like I knew she would, she goes crazy. Haha. She comes to the hospital and just adds all kinds of stress to the situation. I try to keep calm but my mom and my husband are freaking out that it makes it really hard for me to do so. I get my epidural and it starts... Baby came and he had some respiratory problems due to being a premie, so they had to take him to NICU right away. He almost had to be transferred to Primary Childrens' Hospital but he started breathing on his own so we were ok to keep him at Orem Community Hospital. He was in NICU for a week and a half and we were able to bring him home. Thank goodness for family. Of course my house was a MESS when I left that morning for my appointment so my husbands amazing aunts came over and cleaned my whole apartment before we brought my precious baby home. And that is how the headache which I love soo much came about...

Established April 18, 2009

Although I didn't know it at the time, I met my husband in 2003 at Timpanogos High School. I knew of Thor Pili, but never thought twice about him. One, he was a Junior and I was a Senior. Two, we hung out it very different crowds. I graduated and moved on with life not thinking twice about this guy. I began school at Stevens-Henager College and graduated with my Bachelors degree in 2007.  I ran into Thor at a dance in Provo and we talked for a little bit. He later emailed me and we kept in contact that way for months. Then I finally gave him my number and that was our next form of contact. When I told my friends, it was the wierdest thing to everyone. Again, we all knew Thor from High School and he and I were total opposites. Haha. Well we didn't date right away. We didn't even meet back up until months later because he was going to school at UNLV. Once we met up again, we were inseperable. Anyways, to make this story, that is really starting to drag on, short we started dating in January of 2008, got engaged October 11, 2008 and were sealed for all time and eternity in the Salt Lake City Temple on April 19, 2009. This is where our real story begins...
