This year we actually went all out for the babies. Last year Thor had just started walking and we "thought" he was too young to be able to enjoy easter and I was 8 months pregnant and huge, so we just didn't do much other than go to our ward Easter Hunt. This Easter we got the kids Easter baskets and had a seperate Easter hunt from our ward one and it was a huge success! Thor is soo funny and adorable and Eva really knew what was going on. At least from what I could see. Lol. She fought me for her dang barbie that I was just trying to get out of the box. She swears she's grown. Haha.
We spent the Saturday before with my family and we were there ALL night. Then Easter Sunday was with my hubby's family. It's amazing how much the focus of my life has changed in the last few years. You know you're single and all you think about is yourself and what you're going to do to have fun yourself. You get married and you think it will be hard to take care of yourself and a husband but it works out. You have kids and it's not even about yourself anymore. Everything revolves around the babies and what to do to get a smile out of them. And they make life matter. I have to admit even getting married I don't think I grew up like I needed to. Having kids definitely helped me grow up and put life into perspective. The greatest gift after gaining an awesome hubby of course, is my babies. Life is really complete once kids come into the picture and I can't wait until the many more to come. ;-)
